Permanent Lighting in Denton
We're from Denton, and the lights we put up stay up. Inception Lighting is based right here in Denton, on South I-35. We install permanent color-changing LED lights on your home. You leave them up all year. In the daytime they're hard to see, and at night you turn them on and change the colors from your phone.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Denton homeowners are switching
Most folks who call us are done with the November ladder routine. Haul out the bins, climb up on the roof, and there goes a Saturday. Then January rolls around and you do it all again to take everything down. Permanent lights get installed once. From there, you pick the colors and set the schedule in the app.
Denton loves to decorate. Every December the Holiday Lighting Festival brings families out to Quakertown Park, and a lot of neighborhoods turn into their own drive-through light show. With permanent lights your house is ready for all of it, plus every other holiday, and nobody has to climb on the roof to make it happen.
Made for how Denton celebrates
- On fall Saturdays, put the house in UNT green and white for the Mean Green. By Sunday it can go back to warm white.
- TWU families like maroon and white for graduation weekend.
- Red, white and blue for the Fourth. Orange and purple for Halloween, green for St. Patrick's Day, and the usual Christmas colors from Thanksgiving through New Year's.
- The rest of the year, a plain warm white looks good on the house and puts a little more light on the yard at night.
The app schedules up to twelve months ahead, so you can set it once and leave it alone. Whites go from a warm 1800K to a cool 6800K, and you've got 16 million colors beyond that.
Homes we light in Denton
Denton has a bit of everything, and we light all of it.
- Older homes near the Square and in the neighborhoods around the universities. People there usually want lights nobody can see by day, so the house keeps the look it's always had.
- Newer neighborhoods like Rayzor Ranch, and the subdivisions going up along Loop 288 and on the south and east sides of town. Families there get holiday lights without adding one more chore to the list.
- Robson Ranch on the west side. The homes are single-story, and folks there like having holiday lights without anybody in the house getting on a ladder.
- Country homes and acreage at the edge of town, where you can see the house lit up from the road.
Lots of Denton neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Denton permanent lighting FAQ
What's this going to cost me?
It depends on the house. We price by how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories you have, and which sides you want covered. A free estimate gets you a real number.
Can I still do regular Christmas colors?
Of course. Warm white, multicolor, or red and green, from Thanksgiving through New Year's. When the season's over, you pick something else in the app. Nothing has to come down.
Can you see them during the day?
Not really. The track is color-matched to your trim, and most folks don't notice anything until the lights come on.
Can I put them on a schedule?
Yes, as far as twelve months ahead. Set each holiday once and the lights switch over by themselves.
Can everyone in the house use the app?
Yes. Anyone in the family can use it and save their own designs.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the lights.
When should I book to have them up for Christmas?
Earlier is better. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the sooner you're in, the more dates you'll have.
Do you install outside Denton?
Yes. Denton's home base, but we install all around it and well beyond. Tell us where the house is when you request your estimate.
Ready to get started?
If you'd like lights up before Christmas, send in your free estimate now. You'll get your pick of install dates before the holiday rush grabs the good ones.
