Why Lantana homeowners are choosing permanent lights
People in Lantana take care of their yards, and a tangle of seasonal strands and clips doesn't really go with that. Getting them up means leaning a ladder on the gutters on a cold afternoon. Getting them down a few weeks later is worse. Permanent lights go up once. After that you handle the colors, the effects and the on and off times in the app.
Lantana already keeps a busy community calendar. Neighbors get together for concerts, festivals and chili cook-offs around the parks and the pool, and holiday lights fit right in. Once your house is set up, your street can glow for the winter holidays and you're still ready for game days and birthday parties.
Made for how Lantana celebrates
- Lantana is zoned to John H. Guyer High School, so lots of families run black, silver and blue for Wildcats football in the fall and go back to white after the game.
- At Christmas some people do multicolor for the kids. Others stay with red and green, or a soft white.
- Green for St. Patrick's Day, red, white and blue for the Fourth, purple and orange for Halloween, and warm fall tones around Thanksgiving.
- On a regular evening, plain white outlines the house and puts a little extra light on the driveway.
Set up a whole year of schedules at once, up to twelve months out. There are 16 million colors, plus whites from a warm 1800K to a bright 6800K.
Homes we light in Lantana
Lantana is a master-planned community in unincorporated Denton County, about eight miles south of Denton, on land that used to be part of Rayzor Ranch. The neighborhoods share a common look, so lights that look neat and match the rest of the house make a lot of sense here.
- Homes on the private 18-hole golf course designed by Jay Morrish. If your backyard faces the course, the house looks lit and finished from the fairway side as well as the street.
- Larkspur and the other neighborhoods around the community park and pool. A lot of these families light just the front, where it shows from the street.
- Bigger two-story homes, where the lights can follow the shape of the whole house and not only the gutters.
- Single-story homes, where a soft line of light across the front makes the house look tidy and welcoming.
Lantana has a homeowners association, the Lantana Community Association. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Lantana permanent lighting FAQ
We have an HOA. Can we still get permanent lights?
Just mention the Lantana Community Association when you request your estimate and we'll talk it through with you.
Can I do Guyer colors on game nights?
Yes. Put together a black, silver and blue design once, save it, and schedule it for fall game nights. The lights can switch back to your everyday white on their own.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your home. We look at how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories the house has and which sides you want done. Your free estimate gives you an exact number for your address.
Do they show during the day?
Not much. The track is color-matched to your trim, so mostly you see the lights after dark.
Can I still do a classic Christmas look?
Sure. Warm white, multicolor, or red and green from Thanksgiving to New Year's. Then switch over to a winter or everyday setting.
What's the warranty?
The lights have a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
How early should I call to get them up before the holidays?
Earlier is better. We book install dates in the order estimates are approved, so the sooner you're in, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
Do you install outside Lantana?
Yes, in the towns all around Lantana and well beyond. Include your address on your estimate request.
