Permanent Lighting in Highland Village
Highland Village homes, lit for every holiday from your phone. Highland Village sits on the southwest side of Lewisville Lake, and folks here take pride in how their neighborhoods look. We're Inception Lighting, based nearby in Denton. We install permanent color-changing LED lights that stay up year round and blend into the trim by day. When you're ready, they turn on from your phone.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!

Why Highland Village homeowners are upgrading
Many homes here are good-sized two-stories with steep roofs, so putting up seasonal lights is a serious job. A lot of owners end up paying someone to hang them and take them down, season after season. Permanent lights go in one time. After that, you decide how the house looks each night from the app.
The city keeps a full holiday calendar of its own. Each December, Highland Village Parks and Recreation puts on Christmas at the Ranch at Doubletree Ranch Park, with Santa, reindeer, sledding on a snow hill and a trackless train. Your lights can keep pace with all of it, and when it warms up you can switch to brighter summer colors.
Made for how Highland Village celebrates
- Edward S. Marcus High School is the main high school for Highland Village, so a red and silver Marauders design is a natural for football season.
- For Christmas at the Ranch, go warm white or candy-cane red and white, starting the weekend the Ranch fills up with families and running through New Year's.
- Red, white and blue on the Fourth, orange and violet for Halloween, deep green for St. Patrick's Day.
- On regular evenings, lots of people keep a simple white on. It looks nice from the street without calling attention to itself.
Schedules go up to twelve months at a time, so once you've set it, you can stop thinking about it. There are 16 million colors, and the white goes anywhere from 1800K to 6800K.
Homes we light in Highland Village
Highland Village is mostly residential, mostly higher-end homes, with the lake, the A-train station and the Shops at Highland Village close by.
- Highland Shores, the big lakeside neighborhood with its own owners association. Many of those homes are big and spread out, and lit up they're hard to miss from the street.
- Briarhill Estates, Castlewood, Chapel Hill and Highland Meadows. The established two-story homes there look right lit up at night, and nobody has to climb to the second story to get them that way.
- Homes with lake and park views. Lights on the house add something to the view in the evening.
- Updated and remodeled homes, where owners want the lights out of sight during the day and something nice to look at after dark.
Many Highland Village neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Highland Village permanent lighting FAQ
I'm in Highland Shores. Can I still get permanent lights?
Put your neighborhood and owners association on your estimate request, and we'll talk it through with you.
Can I do Marauders colors?
Yes. Save a red and silver design and schedule it for fall game nights. The next day it can go back to white by itself.
My house is a two-story with a steep roof. Does that change the price?
Yes. The number of stories is part of the price, along with how much of the roofline you want lit and which sides you cover. Your free estimate will lay out the options for your house.
Can I still do regular Christmas lights?
Yes. Warm white, multicolor, or red and green, all season long. When the holidays wrap up you pick a new preset, so there's nothing to haul down.
Will the lights show in the daytime?
Not much. The track is color-matched to your trim, so it blends right in, and you mostly see the lights at night.
Do the lights come with a warranty?
Yes. The manufacturer covers them for 5 years under its warranty.
Do you install outside Highland Village?
Yes, all around Highland Village and well beyond. Send your address along with your estimate request.
Ready to get started?
Send in your free estimate request and choose your install date while plenty are still open.
