Why Little Elm homeowners are making the move
If you've ever decorated a two-story house for Christmas, you know the drill. It's hours on a ladder and a few strands that won't light, and then after New Year's you get to go back up and take it all down. Permanent lights skip both of those trips. We install them once, and from then on you change the look of the house from the app.
Little Elm is a lake town. The Lakefront, with Little Elm Beach and The Cove, is kind of the town's front porch. At Christmastime it's the heart of A Merry Little Elm Christmas, and the Christmas Light Up Parade brings floats, school bands and Santa to The Lawn at The Lakefront. Driving home from all that to a house that's already lit is a good feeling.
Made for how Little Elm celebrates
- Blue and gold for the Lobos, for Little Elm High games, the playoffs and graduation.
- During parade season, a red and green chase works. Go with a cool white and blue if you want something more wintry.
- Summer at the lake means red, white and blue for Memorial Day and the Fourth. Some folks like ocean teal for nights on the back patio.
- Every other night, warm white keeps the driveway and front door lit, and the house is easy to find.
You can schedule up to twelve months ahead, and the house switches over for holidays and game days without anybody opening the app. There are 16 million colors, and the whites go anywhere from 1800K to 6800K.
Homes we light in Little Elm
Little Elm has grown fast, and most homes here are in newer planned neighborhoods.
- Union Park, the Hillwood community off U.S. 380 with its central park, ponds and trails. Lit houses look good on an evening walk around the ponds.
- Valencia on the Lake, along Rockhill Parkway by the Lake Lewisville shore, close to the beach and The Cove. Heading home from the beach after dark, you'll see your place lit up before you pull in.
- The neighborhoods near The Lakefront and Main Street, where people love to decorate for parade season. Yours can be ready without a single trip up the ladder.
- Two-story homes all over town. That second story is the part nobody wants to reach on a ladder, and now nobody has to.
Many Little Elm neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.
