Why Argyle homeowners are making the switch
Decorating a house on a big Argyle lot takes a lot more than one afternoon. There's more house to cover, the ladder keeps getting moved, and somehow it always lands on the coldest Saturday of the season. Come January, you get to climb back up and take it all down. With permanent lights, we do the install one time. From then on, changing how the house looks takes a couple of taps.
Folks here call Argyle "The Small Apple," and the town holds on to its traditions. Each December, Keep Argyle Beautiful hosts the Argyle Christmas Tree Lighting Festival. Santa leads the countdown and the community tree comes on for the season. Your house can light up that same night and stay that way through the holidays. No extension cords strung across the yard.
Made for how Argyle celebrates
- Fall Fridays belong to the Argyle High Eagles, so put the house in red, white and black. When the weekend's over, it can go back to warm white.
- On tree lighting night, red and green is the classic pick. Some folks with a farmhouse look like a soft candlelight white better.
- Easter gets pastels and the Fourth gets red, white and blue. Halloween is orange and purple, and Thanksgiving looks good in gold and amber.
- Most nights, a soft white on the house lights the way up a long driveway and helps guests find you after dark.
Sit down once and you can set up the whole year. The app takes schedules up to twelve months ahead. You've got 16 million colors to play with, and the whites go from a warm 1800K to a crisp 6800K.
Homes we light in Argyle
Argyle got its start as a stop on the Texas and Pacific Railroad. Today that rural history sits right next to some of the most sought-after new communities in Denton County.
- Acreage and ranch properties. Even when the house sits way back off the road, you can see it lit up from the gate.
- Harvest, the farm-themed community near the Argyle and Northlake line, with its orchards, community garden plots and lakes. Lots there go from standard size up to one to three acres, and either way the house is easy to pick out at night.
- Newer homes near Canyon Falls Drive, close to Argyle High School. The modern farmhouse and transitional houses there look sharp after dark, and in the daytime they just look like the house.
- Older homes near the original town center. Owners there want lights that vanish during the day so the front of the house stays the way they like it.
Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.
A local company since 2012
We've been doing this since 2012, and that adds up to more than 2,000 lighting projects for homes, businesses and cities. Our head office is in Denton at 723 S Interstate 35, Suite 226, so the people who answer the phone live and work around here.
Argyle permanent lighting FAQ
We've got a big house on a big lot. How do you figure the price?
It's based on how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories the house has, and which sides you want covered. On a bigger place you might do just the front, or go further around the house. We'll price it both ways in your free estimate.
Can I do Eagles colors on game nights?
You can. Save a red, white and black design and schedule it for fall Fridays. By the next morning it's back to warm white without you touching it.
Can my lights come on the night of the tree lighting?
Yes. Pick your Christmas look ahead of time and set it to start that evening. The schedule can go out as far as twelve months.
Will people see them during the day?
Most won't. We match the track's color to your trim, so nobody really notices it until the lights come on.
Can the whole family use the app?
Yes. Everybody can get on the app, and each person keeps their own saved designs.
Is there a warranty on the lights?
There is. They come with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Do you work outside Argyle?
We do. We install all around Argyle and well beyond it. Include your address on your estimate request and we'll go from there.
Ready to get started?
Get your free estimate request in early. We book install dates in the order estimates are approved, and the folks who ask first get first pick before the holidays.
