Why Flower Mound homeowners are making the move
Plenty of Flower Mound houses have tall roofs with a lot of angles, and hanging lights on one can eat up a whole day. You could hire someone to put up temporary strands, but then you're paying for the same job every year, and somebody still has to take it all down. Permanent lights go up once. After that you change the colors, effects and schedule yourself, whenever you want.
The town opens the season with the Flower Mound Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting. The parade heads toward Gerault Park, the town lights a big tree, and fireworks close out the night. If your lights are already in, you come home from the parade to a house that's ready for Christmas. It stays that way all season, with nobody on a ladder.
Made for how Flower Mound celebrates
- Football season. Flower Mound High families can go Jaguars blue, silver and white, and Marcus families can do Marauders red and silver. If you're zoned to Argyle High, save a red, white and black Eagles look.
- Turn on the Christmas colors the night of the tree lighting and keep them on through New Year's.
- Come spring, soft blues, yellows and pinks for the wildflowers. It's a nod to the Mound, the native prairie hill the town is named for.
- The rest is simple. Red, white and blue on the Fourth, orange and purple at Halloween, and warm white on ordinary nights.
The app holds up to twelve months of schedules. Choose from 16 million colors, and set the whites anywhere from 1800K to 6800K.
Homes we light in Flower Mound
Flower Mound grew with a lot of care for open space and planning, so you'll find everything here from golf communities to wooded acreage.
- Bridlewood, the golf course community with eleven neighborhoods and an HOA. The big two-story homes there look sharp lit up, and in the daytime the lights don't take anything away from the house.
- Canyon Falls, the master-planned community near the Northlake line, with newer homes near ponds and plenty of trails. It's nice pulling in after dark and seeing your house already lit.
- The south side near Grapevine Lake and Marshall Creek, where a lit house goes nicely with the water views.
- The established neighborhoods around Parker Square and along the town's paved trails, where owners usually want lights they won't see during the day.
Many Flower Mound neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Flower Mound permanent lighting FAQ
Can I have Christmas colors on for the parade and tree lighting?
Yes. Choose your design ahead of time and schedule it for that evening. Schedules can be set as far as twelve months out.
My kids go to a different high school than the neighbors. Can we do our own team colors?
Sure. Jaguars, Marauders, Eagles, or any mix you like. Everyone in the family can use the app and save their own favorites.
I'm in Bridlewood. Does the HOA matter?
Just mention your HOA on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
What would my house cost?
That depends on how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories the house has, and which sides you want covered. Your free estimate gives you your actual price.
Can you see the lights during the day?
Not unless you're looking for them. Since the track is color-matched to your trim, most people driving by have no idea the lights are there until they're on.
Is there a warranty?
There is. The lights are backed by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Do you install outside Flower Mound?
Yes, all around Flower Mound and well beyond. Drop your address in the estimate request.
Ready to get started?
Spend the season enjoying the lights instead of hanging them. Send us a free estimate request and get on the install calendar early.
