Permanent Lighting in Lewisville
Hang the lights once. Change them from your phone. Inception Lighting installs permanent color-changing LED lights on Lewisville homes. They stay up year-round and blend in with the house, so in the daytime you don't really see them. At night they come on in whatever colors you pick. We're based just up I-35 in Denton, not far from Old Town.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Lewisville homeowners are making the switch
You know how it usually goes. You dig the strands out of the garage, borrow a ladder and spend an afternoon on the roof hoping the clips hold. A few weeks later you do it all again backward. Permanent lights put an end to that. They go up one time, and every change after that happens in the app.
Lewisville goes big for the holidays. The Holiday Stroll fills Old Town with carolers and hayrides. There's a tree lighting at Wayne Ferguson Plaza and a Christmas parade through downtown. In the fall, Western Days takes over those same streets. This town likes a celebration, and a house that lights up on its own schedule fits right in, with nobody hauling boxes down from the attic.
Made for how Lewisville celebrates
- On Fighting Farmers game nights, turn the house maroon and white. When the weekend's over, go back to a warm white.
- For the Holiday Stroll and the parade, straight red and green looks great, and so does a candy cane chase.
- Over Western Days weekend, try warm amber and other fall colors.
- Pastels at Easter, red, white and blue on Independence Day, orange and purple at Halloween. On most other nights people just leave a soft white on, and it keeps the driveway lit too.
Schedules go up to twelve months ahead, so you can sit down once and map out the whole year. Pick from 16 million colors, with whites from a warm 1800K to a cool 6800K.
Homes we light in Lewisville
Lewisville started out with gristmills and cotton gins and grew into one of the bigger cities in Denton County. You can see every stage of that in its houses.
- Castle Hills is the big master-planned community inside the city. Most of the homes there are two stories with a lot of detail up top, and at night you get to see all of it.
- In older neighborhoods like The Lakes and Willowbrook, people want a nice look at night while the house looks exactly the same as always during the day.
- Near Old Town, you're close to the plaza where a lot of the holiday events happen, and your house can join in.
- Out by Lewisville Lake, a lit house makes a nice backdrop for evenings on the patio.
Many Lewisville neighborhoods, especially the newer planned communities, have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Lewisville permanent lighting FAQ
Can I do maroon and white for Lewisville High?
Yes. Save those colors as a preset and turn them on for game nights or homecoming. When the season wraps up, switch back to white.
Do you install in Castle Hills?
We do. Castle Hills is part of Lewisville. If your street has an HOA, mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through.
What would it cost for my house?
It depends on how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories the house is and which sides you want covered. Your free estimate gets you the exact price.
Can you tell they're there during the day?
Not much. The track is color-matched to your trim, so most of your neighbors won't even know they're up.
What kind of warranty do the lights have?
A 5-year manufacturer's warranty comes with them.
Can the whole family use the app?
Yes. Anyone in the family can use it and save their own designs.
How early should I book before Christmas?
As early as you can. Install dates go in the order estimates are approved. Get approved sooner and you'll have more dates to choose from.
Do you work outside Lewisville?
Yes. We install in Lewisville, the cities around it and well beyond. Send your address with your estimate request and we'll go from there.
Ready to get started?
