Permanent Lighting in Prosper
Prosper lights that go up once and stay. Inception Lighting puts permanent color-changing LED lights on Prosper homes. They stay up all year, and in the daytime you barely notice them. At night you tap the app and they come on.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Prosper homeowners are switching
Prosper calls itself "Small Town, Big Heart," and December is when you really see it. Whole streets light up. What nobody sees is the work behind it. Somebody drags the bins out, untangles every strand, gets up on a ladder against a two-story house and hopes the clips survive the first cold front. A few weeks later it all comes back down.
We put permanent lights up one time. After that you choose the colors, the pattern and the schedule in the app. You won't have bins to store or burned-out bulbs to hunt down, and the ladder stays put.
The Prosper Christmas Festival fills the Town Hall grounds every December and the community tree lighting is one of the big moments. With permanent lights, your house is already glowing when you get home from it.
Made for how Prosper celebrates
- Friday nights in the fall. Prosper ISD has four high schools, so go with yours. Green and white for the Prosper Eagles, blue and black for the Rock Hill Blue Hawks, navy and silver for the Walnut Grove Wildcats, purple and black for Richland.
- Spring is a good time to try some bright colors, like pastels for Easter.
- Red, white and blue for the Fourth. Turn it on early in the week and leave it through the fireworks.
- Orange and purple at Halloween, then red, green and gold for Christmas.
- Every other night, a warm white. The front of the house looks finished, and the driveway isn't dark when you pull in.
Schedules can run twelve months out, so you can sit down once and plan the whole year. The app has 16 million colors, and the white goes anywhere from a warm 1800K to a crisp 6800K.
Homes we light in Prosper
Prosper reaches into western Collin County and eastern Denton County, and a lot of houses have gone up around the old center of town.
- Windsong Ranch, the master-planned community west of the Dallas North Tollway with the lagoon and miles of trails. These newer two-stories have a lot of character up top, and color looks great on them at night.
- Glenbrooke and Doe Creek on the far west side, where homes sit on established lots. Folks there want people to see the house in the daytime, not the lights, and that's what they get.
- Homes near downtown and Town Hall, close to Rock Hill and Richland, the two old settlements that came together to form Prosper. A soft white fits these streets well.
- Bigger custom homes and acreage, where the whole house shows up lit from the street.
Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Prosper permanent lighting FAQ
Can we do our kid's high school colors?
Of course. Save Eagles green and white, Blue Hawks blue and black, Wildcats navy and silver, or Richland purple and black as a preset. Put it on for game nights and playoffs, and switch back after.
Will the lights be up in time for the Christmas Festival?
They will if they're installed before it. Set your Christmas look to start festival weekend and run through New Year's. We book install dates in the order estimates are approved, so the sooner you ask, the better.
What's this going to cost me?
It's different for every house. We price it on how much roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides you want covered. The free estimate gives you the actual number for your address.
Will people see them during the day?
Hardly anyone notices. The track is the same color as your trim, so it just looks like part of the house until you turn the lights on.
Can my spouse and kids use the app too?
Yes. Anybody in the family can use it and save the designs they like.
Is there a warranty on the lights?
There is. They come with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Do you install outside Prosper?
Yes. We install in Prosper, all around it and well beyond. Include your address with your estimate request.
Ready to get started?
Send in your free estimate request and claim an install date while there's still room on the calendar. Then you can retire from ladder duty every winter after.
