Why Coppell homeowners are making the switch
Coppell households stay busy. Between school, practice, band rehearsals and work, there isn't a spare weekend in November for wrestling with tangled strands, and there sure isn't one in January for pulling them all back down.
Permanent lights take the whole chore off your list. We put them up once and they stay put. When you want a different look, you change it in the app from the couch.
The city opens the season with its Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting at Andrew Brown Park East. Floats from local teams and shops roll through, the Coppell band and the Lariettes perform, and the big tree comes on after the countdown. It's a nice thing to drive home from all that and find your own house already glowing.
Made for how Coppell celebrates
- Cowboys and Cowgirls game nights. Coppell High's red, black and white looks sharp on a house, and you can save it as a preset for the whole season.
- Christmas from the tree lighting straight through New Year's. Go with warm white, classic red and green, or the multicolor look the kids keep asking for.
- Warm golds for Diwali, red for Lunar New Year, and green for St. Patrick's Day.
- Red, white and blue for the Fourth, orange and purple at Halloween, and a soft white on regular weeknights so the driveway's lit when you get home.
You can line up twelve months of schedules at once. There are 16 million colors to pick from, and the whites go from a cozy 1800K up to a crisp 6800K.
Homes we light in Coppell
Coppell was a small farm community called Gibbs Station before it was renamed Coppell in the late 1800s. It grew into a suburb after DFW Airport opened, and most of the town was built out by the early 2000s. So a lot of the neighborhoods here are settled, with tall trees and houses that have had years to get their character.
- Homes near Old Town Coppell, the city's historic center. Owners here usually want the house to look exactly like it always has during the day, and it will.
- Riverchase Estates, Copperstone and Waterside Estates. Lots of families here want the holidays covered without one more weekend project.
- Northlake Woodlands, Shadow Woods Estates and the Village at Cottonwood Creek, where a little warm white on everyday nights makes the front of the house feel welcoming.
- Gibbs Station, which shares its name with what the town was called before it became Coppell. A lit house there feels like a small tip of the hat to old Coppell.
Plenty of Coppell neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Coppell permanent lighting FAQ
Can I have the house lit for the Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting?
Yes. Build your Christmas design ahead of time and schedule it to come on that evening.
Can we put up Coppell High colors?
Sure. Red, black and white makes a great game-night preset. Save it once and use it all fall.
We live in an older part of town. Will the lights change how the house looks in the daytime?
Not really. The track is color-matched to your trim, so it blends in.
What will it cost for my house?
Every home is different. The price depends on how much roofline you want lit, how many stories you have, and which sides of the house you'd like covered. The free estimate tells you what your Coppell house would cost.
Can my kids use the app too?
Yes. Everyone in the family can use BlueHopper and save their own designs.
How far ahead can I schedule?
Up to twelve months. Set your holidays, game nights and everyday white once, and the lights switch over by themselves.
Is there a warranty?
There is. Coppell installs get the same 5-year manufacturer's warranty as every other home we light.
Do you install outside Coppell?
Yes. We install all around Coppell and well beyond it. Just include your address when you request your estimate.
Ready to get started?
Install dates go in the order estimates are approved, so the families who send theirs in early get the most choices before Christmas. Request your free estimate and grab a spot.
