Permanent Lighting in Bee Cave
Bee Cave holiday lights that go up once and stay. Inception Lighting installs permanent color-changing LED lights on homes in Bee Cave. We're based in Denton and travel out west of Austin to install. The lights stay put all year. By day they're very hard to pick out, and by night you open the app on your phone, turn them on and set the colors.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Bee Cave homeowners are going permanent
Bee Cave homes tend to be big, and many sit up on hills with a view. That makes for a great place to live and a tough place to hang Christmas lights. Most people who call us have either been doing it themselves and are tired of the ladder, or they've been paying for temporary lights each fall and watching the bill come back every year.
Permanent lights end the yearly cycle. They're installed one time, and after that you change everything from the BlueHopper app.
The season in Bee Cave centers on the Hill Country Galleria. Light Up the Plaza kicks things off with the big lighting of the plaza and live music. Bee Cave on Ice, the outdoor rink, runs through the holidays, Santa is there for photos most of December, and there's a holiday market on December weekends, too. When your house is already glowing, the drive home from the Galleria ends on a good note.
Made for how Bee Cave celebrates
- Lake Travis High football. Cavaliers families can light the house in red, black and silver on game weeks.
- Christmas colors from the Galleria's plaza lighting through New Year's.
- An icy blue and white look for skating season at the rink.
- Flag colors when the Fourth rolls around, and a spooky orange and purple mix for Halloween night.
- A soft warm white on regular nights. It sits well with the Hill Country around you and makes the front entry easy to find.
The app can schedule up to twelve months ahead, so the whole year can be set in one sitting. Pick from 16 million colors, and choose a white anywhere from 1800K to 6800K.
Homes we light in Bee Cave
Bee Cave neighborhoods range from guard-gated estates to newer family communities.
- Spanish Oaks, the gated community with custom estates on large lots and Hill Country views. Some homes back up to preserve land. Owners there like lights that stay hidden in the daytime, which the color-matched track helps with.
- Falconhead, where many homes back up to the golf course or greenbelt, under mature trees.
- Lake Pointe, with its private park on Lake Austin and a gated section called The Pointe.
- Sweetwater, with three pools, sports fields and trails. Lots of families, and lots of kids who'll want their own color designs.
- The Homestead and Provence, with Mediterranean and European style homes.
Many Bee Cave neighborhoods have an HOA, and some are gated. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Bee Cave permanent lighting FAQ
Can my lights be on for Light Up the Plaza?
Yes, if we've finished your install before it. Set the Christmas look to come on the night of the plaza lighting and stay on until New Year's. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so request early.
My Spanish Oaks home backs up to preserve land. Can I keep the lights subtle?
Sure. Pick a soft warm white as low as 1800K, and schedule the lights to turn off whenever you like. You can save a bolder look for Christmas and switch back after.
What's the cost for my home?
Bee Cave pricing comes down to how much roofline you'd like lit, your number of stories, and which sides of the home get lights. The free estimate gets you an exact number.
Will the lights change how my house looks during the day?
Not much at all. The track is color-matched to your trim, so the house keeps its look in daylight.
Can I schedule them and forget about it?
Yes. Set schedules up to twelve months ahead and the lights change over by themselves.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Bee Cave homeowners get the same 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the lights as everyone else.
Do you install outside Bee Cave?
Yes. We install all around Bee Cave and well beyond. Your address goes on the estimate request, and we'll take it from there.
Ready to get started?
Spend the holidays at the rink, not on the roof. Send in your free estimate request early to get a better shot at the install date you want.
