Permanent Lighting in Cedar Park
Permanent lights for Cedar Park homes, controlled from your phone. Inception Lighting installs permanent color-changing LED lights, and Cedar Park is one of the places we do it. We're based in Denton. The lights stay up through every season, and in the daytime they blend right in with the house. At night you open the app, choose a color or a holiday preset, and that's it.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Cedar Park homeowners are choosing permanent lights
Here's how it usually goes. Thanksgiving weekend, someone drags the ladder out of the garage, the extension cords come out, and a few hours later half the house is lit. In January the whole thing comes back down and goes into a bin that takes up half a shelf.
Permanent lights put a stop to all that. We do the install once, and from then on you change colors in the app whenever you want.
Cedar Park's big night comes every December at Heritage Oak Park, when the city lights the biggest live oak in town with more than 30,000 lights. Kids get pictures with Santa under the tree while the holiday music plays. If your lights are already on a schedule, the house is lit before you're back from the park.
Made for how Cedar Park celebrates
- Fall Fridays. Cedar Park High families can go Timberwolves forest green, silver and black. Vista Ridge families can do Rangers red, black and silver.
- Texas Stars games at the H-E-B Center call for victory green, silver and white.
- Christmas colors from the tree lighting through New Year's, with a red and green design or a classic warm white.
- Red, white and blue for the Fourth, green for St. Patrick's Day, and orange and purple when the trick-or-treaters show up.
- A simple warm white for every other night.
The schedule can reach as far as twelve months ahead. There are 16 million colors in the app, and the whites range from a warm 1800K to a bright 6800K.
Homes we light in Cedar Park
- Buttercup Creek on the west side, where you'll find original '80s homes next to newer, bigger ones. Folks there tend to want lights that don't change how the house looks by day.
- Ranch at Brushy Creek, right across from Brushy Creek Lake Park. A lit house is a nice welcome home after a walk around the lake.
- Cypress Canyon out on the edge of the Hill Country, with canyon views and newer homes.
- Forest Oaks in the middle of town, with bigger two-story homes and access to the Brushy Creek Trail.
- Gann Ranch, one of the largest communities in Cedar Park, and Shenandoah near Lakeline Mall, where one-story ranch homes sit under big oak and pecan trees.
Lots of Cedar Park neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Cedar Park permanent lighting FAQ
Can my lights be on for the Heritage Oak Tree Lighting?
Yes. Set your Christmas design in the app ahead of time and schedule it for that night. Schedules can go up to twelve months out.
One kid's a Timberwolf and the other's a Ranger. Can we switch back and forth?
Easy. Anyone in the family can use the app and save their own designs, so green and silver one Friday and red and black the next.
How do you figure the price?
We price each house by how much roofline you want lit, how many stories it has, and which sides you want covered. Request a free estimate and you'll get your number.
Are the lights noticeable in daylight?
Not much. The track is color-matched to your trim, so most people never notice it until the lights are on.
What about a warranty?
The lights are covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
When do I need to book to be lit by Christmas?
Go ahead and request your estimate early. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, and the good ones go first.
Do you install around Cedar Park?
We do, all around Cedar Park and well beyond. Include your address when you send your estimate request.
