Permanent Lighting in Kyle
Kyle homes lit for Christmas, and for every holiday after it. Inception Lighting puts permanent color-changing LED lights on homes in Kyle. We're a Denton-based company, and we come down I-35 to do installs here. Your lights stay up all year long. During the day you won't see much of them. Once it's dark, open the app, turn them on and choose any color you like.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Kyle homeowners are going permanent
Most families in Kyle have plenty going on in December without adding a ladder to the holiday list. Hanging lights on a two-story house takes a full Saturday if it goes well. Taking them back down is one more chore nobody wants after New Year's. Paying somebody to do both every season adds up.
Permanent lights are a one-time install. After that you choose the colors, set the schedule and swap holiday looks in the BlueHopper app.
Kyle puts on a good December. Santa's Arrival brings the city tree lighting to Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park, with school choirs and holiday vendors. After that the park stays lit for the 25 Days of Christmas, with live music, food vendors and family activities on December weekends. When your own house is already lit, the ride home from the square is part of the fun.
Made for how Kyle celebrates
- Football season. Lehman families can light the house in royal blue and silver for the Lobos.
- Christmas colors from Santa's Arrival right through New Year's Day.
- A Grinch green for the kids on a December weeknight, just for fun.
- Red, white and blue on Independence Day, and a fun orange and purple for trick-or-treaters.
- Warm white on ordinary nights, so the driveway and front steps are easy to see.
Schedules can be set up to twelve months ahead in the app. You get 16 million colors to work with, plus whites from 1800K to 6800K.
Homes we light in Kyle
Kyle is full of master-planned neighborhoods, each with its own pools and parks.
- Plum Creek, the big mixed-use community that's been around since the late nineties, with a clubhouse, a resort-style pool and a splash park.
- 6 Creeks, with its fishing dock and pickleball court, where the homes are newer and often two stories.
- Hometown Kyle, northwest of downtown, with tennis courts, a pool and walking trails.
- Anthem and Crosswinds, where families get lots of open space and amenity centers close to home.
- Cool Springs and Cypress Forest, with roomier homesites. A lit house looks great from the street on a wide lot.
- The older streets around downtown and the square, where a warm white fits right in.
Many Kyle subdivisions have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.
Denton based since 2012
Inception got its start in 2012. More than 2,000 lighting projects for homes, businesses and cities later, we're still at it. Our head office is at 723 S Interstate 35, Suite 226, in Denton, and our crews travel to Kyle for installs.
Kyle permanent lighting FAQ
Can my lights be on for Santa's Arrival at the square?
Yes, provided we've wrapped up your install before Santa gets to the square. Pick a Christmas design, set it to start the evening Santa shows up, and leave it on through New Year's. Dates are handed out in the order estimates are approved, so Kyle families who ask early get more choices.
Can we do Lobos colors on game nights?
Absolutely. Save a royal blue and silver design and turn it on from your phone, or schedule it for the whole season. Everyone in the family can use the app and save their own looks.
How much will it cost?
It depends on how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories the home has, and which sides you'd like covered. A free estimate gets you your real price.
Are the lights noticeable when they're off?
Not really. The track is color-matched to your trim, so most people don't see anything until the lights turn on.
How far out can I set a schedule?
As far as twelve months ahead.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Kyle installs include a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the lights.
Do you install outside Kyle?
Yes, we install all around Kyle and well beyond. Tell us your address when you request your estimate.
Ready to get started?
Spend December at the square instead of on a ladder. Get your free estimate request in early so you aren't stuck with whatever date is left.
