Permanent Lighting in Leander
Your Leander house, ready for Christmas without the ladder. We're Inception Lighting. Our home base is Denton, and Leander is one of the towns where we install permanent color-changing LED lights. They stay on the house all year long. In the daytime they're hard to spot. Once it gets dark, you choose the colors on your phone and they come on.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Leander homeowners are making the switch
Ask any Leander parent how many free Saturdays they get in the fall and you'll hear a laugh. Hanging lights takes one of them. Taking them down takes another. Most people we talk to would rather spend that time at a ballgame or out on the trails.
Ours go on the house one time. You get the colors and the schedule set the way you like them, and after that the house handles the holidays.
Every December the Old Town Christmas Festival brings the whole town out to Brushy Street. There's the Rudolph Run, a community parade and a holiday market, and the day wraps up with the lighting of a 60-foot tree. Your own lights can be on and waiting when you get home.
Made for how Leander celebrates
- Football season in Leander ISD. Go blue, white and red for the Leander Lions, maroon, gold and black for the Rouse Raiders, or navy, white and orange for the Glenn Grizzlies.
- Christmas colors from the night of the Old Town tree lighting until the new year.
- Something soft for Easter, red, white and blue for the Fourth, and orange and purple for Halloween.
- On a regular night, warm white, so you can find your keys at the front door.
The app holds schedules for up to twelve months, so you can map out the year once and forget about it. You've got 16 million colors to play with, and whites that go from a cozy 1800K all the way to a crisp 6800K.
Homes we light in Leander
- Crystal Falls, the big golf course community with ten neighborhoods and a fishing lake. Some lots there are several acres, and a lit house really stands out after dark.
- Travisso, the 2,100-acre master-planned community with the Palazzo clubhouse and hundreds of acres of open land around it.
- Bryson, with its resort-style pool and Hill Country views. Neighbors there already gather for movie nights at the pavilion, so a lit street feels right at home.
- Block House Creek at the south end of town, right up against Cedar Park. It's an established neighborhood with lots of parkland, and owners usually like their house to look the way it does now in daylight.
- Reagan's Overlook, where custom homes sit on wooded one-acre lots, and Larkspur, with the San Gabriel River and over a hundred acres of parkland right in the community.
Nearly every one of these has an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Leander permanent lighting FAQ
Can I set my lights to come on for the Old Town Christmas Festival?
You can. Build the design ahead of time and schedule it for that evening. You can plan schedules as far as twelve months out.
We have kids at Rouse and Glenn. Can each of them have their own team colors?
Yep. Everyone in the family can use the app and save their own designs, so the Raiders and the Grizzlies can take turns.
I'm in Crystal Falls on a big lot. Can you light just the front of the house?
Yes. You tell us which sides of the house you want covered. Your price is based on that, plus how much of the roofline you want lit and how many stories you have, and the free estimate gives you the number.
Will I see the lights in daylight?
Hardly at all. The track is color-matched to your trim, so from the street it just looks like part of the house.
What warranty comes with the lights?
There's a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on them.
When should I get my estimate in?
Sooner is better. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so getting in early gives you more choices before Christmas.
Do you install around Leander?
Yes, all around Leander and well beyond. Let us know where your home is when you request an estimate.
Ready to get started?
Keep your Saturdays for the family. Request your free estimate now and get a good spot on the install calendar before the holidays.
