Why Mansfield homeowners are switching
Ask around in Mansfield and you'll hear the same story. Somebody hung lights on a tall two-story, it took longer than planned, and they swore they'd never do it again. Then December came back around.
With permanent lights you only deal with it once. After that, changing the look takes about as long as checking the weather on your phone. Nobody has to wrestle with tangled strands in the garage or climb back up in January.
Mansfield opens the season with Hometown Holidays at City Hall every December. There's a tree lighting, live performances, holiday light displays, photos with Santa and a fireworks show to close it out. If your lights are on a schedule, the house switches to Christmas while you're still watching the fireworks.
Made for how Mansfield celebrates
- Mansfield High families can light the house black and gold for the Tigers.
- Legacy families tend to go red and black for the Broncos, and Summit families can save blue, black and white for the Jaguars.
- Switch to Christmas colors the night of Hometown Holidays and keep them going until the new year.
- Red, white and blue to carry you from Memorial Day through the Fourth. Orange and purple when October rolls in.
- Save a design for a birthday or a graduation and pull it back out next time.
- Most nights, a warm white is all you need. It makes the house look sharp and lights up the driveway.
The app lets you plan up to twelve months ahead. You've got 16 million colors to choose from, and whites from a cozy 1800K up to a bright 6800K.
Homes we light in Mansfield
Mansfield stretches into three counties, Tarrant, Johnson and Ellis, so there's a wide mix of homes here.
- The neighborhoods around Walnut Creek Country Club and its 36 holes of golf, including the Fairways of Walnut Creek. These are larger homes on mature lots, and they look great lit up in the evening.
- Older houses near Historic Downtown and Main Street, where owners want the house to look like itself during the day.
- Family neighborhoods with community parks and pools, where kids can spot their own house from down the block.
- The newer subdivisions still going up around town, where a brand-new house can have holiday lights from its first Christmas.
- Country homes and bigger lots toward the edges of the city, where you can see the lights from the road.

How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Mansfield permanent lighting FAQ
Can the lights switch to Christmas for Hometown Holidays?
Yes. Set up your Christmas design ahead of time and schedule it for that night. Schedules can go as far as twelve months out.
Our kids are at different Mansfield ISD high schools. Can we rotate team colors?
Absolutely. Save a Tigers look, a Broncos look and a Jaguars look, then flip between them on game nights. Each person in the family can use the app and keep their own designs.
I'm near Walnut Creek and have an HOA. What should I do?
Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
What's the price?
It depends on how much of the roofline you'd like lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want done. A free estimate gets you a real number for your house.
Will people see the lights in the daytime?
Not really. The track is color-matched to your trim, so it blends in until the lights come on.
How long is the warranty?
It's a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, and it covers the lights.
When should I book?
Sooner is better. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so getting in early gives you more dates to choose from.
Do you install outside Mansfield?
Yes, all around Mansfield and well beyond. Just tell us where the house is on your estimate request.
