Why Fort Worth homeowners are making the change
Most people who reach out to us have hung their own Christmas lights for years and they're tired of it. The bins come down from the garage rafters, half the strands need fixing, and someone ends up on a ladder in the cold. Six weeks later it all comes back down. Permanent lights are a one-time install. From then on, changing the look takes a few taps.
Fort Worth has some of the oldest holiday traditions around. The Fort Worth Community Christmas Tree in Sundance Square goes back generations, all the way to Amon Carter, and the Parade of Lights rolls through downtown with around a hundred lit floats. There's also Christmas in the Garden at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and Christmas in the Stockyards with its parade and ice rink. After a night out at any of them, it's a good feeling to turn onto your street and see the house already lit.
Made for how Fort Worth celebrates
- Purple and white for TCU on fall Saturdays. Leave it up through the weekend if the Frogs win.
- Parade of Lights night is a good excuse to start Christmas. Pick warm white, multicolor or red and green, and keep it going into January.
- Red, white and blue for Independence Day. Orange and purple for Halloween. Green for St. Patrick's Day.
- A soft white on regular nights. It gives the front of the house a nice glow and keeps the yard from going dark.
The app, called BlueHopper, can hold schedules up to twelve months out. You get presets for the holidays plus your own designs, with 16 million colors and whites from 1800K up to 6800K.
Homes we light in Fort Worth
Fort Worth has historic districts, golf communities and plenty in between, and we light homes all over town.
- Fairmount, on the Near Southside, with its historic bungalows and front porches. People there want the house to look just like it always has in the daytime.
- Ryan Place, where Tudor and Colonial Revival homes sit behind established gardens. A warm white suits these streets.
- Arlington Heights near the Cultural District, with Tudors, Craftsman bungalows and some newer homes mixed in.
- Tanglewood and Westcliff, where mature trees shade everything from mid-century ranches to large custom houses.
- Mira Vista, the gated community built around a private golf course, where larger homes look great lit up at night.
- Wedgwood, full of mid-century ranch homes. Folks there like having lights for every holiday without going up a ladder.
Plenty of Fort Worth neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Fort Worth permanent lighting FAQ
Can I have my lights on for the Parade of Lights and the Sundance Square tree lighting?
Yes. Pick your Christmas design ahead of time and schedule it to start that night. You can schedule up to twelve months ahead.
Can I do TCU purple?
Sure. Save purple and white as a preset and turn it on for game days, or schedule it for the whole season. Then go back to white when you're ready.
I live in Fairmount. Will people see the lights during the day?
Not really. The track is color-matched to your trim, so the house keeps its look until the lights come on.
What does it cost?
Every home is priced on its own. We price by how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories you have and which sides you'd like covered. A free estimate gets you an exact price.
Can more than one person use the app?
Yes. Everyone in the family can use it, and each person can save their own designs.
Is there a warranty?
There is. You're covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Do you install outside Fort Worth?
Yes. We install all around Fort Worth and well beyond. Put your address on the estimate request.
Ready to get started?
Install dates fill up as the holidays get closer, and they go in the order estimates are approved. Ask for your free estimate now and let this be the season you leave the ladder in the garage.
