Permanent Lighting in Aledo
Bearcat Fridays and Christmas nights, lit from your phone. Inception Lighting installs permanent color-changing LED lights on homes around Aledo. They go up once and stay up. In the daytime you'd walk right past them, and in the evening you turn them on from an app and choose any color you want.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!
Why Aledo homeowners are switching
Aledo homes tend to sit on bigger lots, and plenty of them are tall, with a lot of house to cover. Putting lights up yourself turns into a full weekend, and if the wind kicks up out here, half of it ends up on the lawn. Then it all has to come down again after the holidays.
We put the lights up one time, and that's the end of the ladder. You decide the colors and the schedule from your phone, and you can change your mind as often as you like. When Christmas comes, you're ready. When the Bearcats make another playoff push, you're ready for that too.
Every December, Christmas Tyme in Aledo brings people downtown. Vendor tents line historic Front Street, Aledo Commons has photos with Santa, and the night wraps up with the tree lighting and a drone show. You can have your own lights set to switch over that evening, so the house is glowing before you even leave the Commons.
Made for how Aledo celebrates
- Black and orange, all fall long. Aledo has won more state football titles than any high school in Texas, and this town shows up for its Bearcats.
- Keep a black and orange design saved for the playoffs, and flip it on whenever the team's still playing.
- After the Christmas Tyme tree lighting, change over to red and green or a soft warm white and leave it through New Year's.
- Red, white and blue for the Fourth. Orange and purple for Halloween, which works out nicely in a black and orange town.
- On a regular night, warm white looks right at home on stone and brick, and it lights up a long driveway.
You can plan as far as twelve months ahead with the app. Choose from 16 million colors, or set whites anywhere from 1800K to 6800K.
Homes we light in Aledo
Most of the neighborhoods with an Aledo address sit outside the small city itself, spread across Parker County and the west edge of Fort Worth.
- Morningstar, with its resort-style pool, clubhouse, trails and fishing pond. With so many families there, a lit house fits right in.
- Walsh, the community with a Fort Worth address and Aledo ISD schools, where lots go up to about an acre. Newer homes there can have holiday lights from day one.
- Parks of Aledo and Bear Creek Ranch, where families like coming home after dark to a house that's already lit.
- Homes near downtown and Front Street, where owners want lights that stay out of sight during the day.
- Ranch-style homes on acreage out in the country. On a clear night, people can see your house from the road.
Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Aledo permanent lighting FAQ
Can I keep Bearcat colors on through the playoffs?
You can. Set black and orange for game nights and leave it on as long as the season goes. Change it back from your phone whenever you're ready.
Can the lights switch over for Christmas Tyme in Aledo?
Yes. Pick your Christmas design ahead of time and schedule it for that night. Schedules can be set up to twelve months ahead.
We live out on acreage. Do you light country homes?
Yes, and they look great lit. Tell us about the house on your estimate request.
How much will it cost?
Price depends on how much roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered. A free estimate gets you a real quote.
Do they stick out in the daytime?
Not much. The track is color-matched to your trim, so most people never notice it.
Can my kids change the colors too?
Yes. The app is called BlueHopper, and each family member can use it and save their own designs.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Your lights are backed for five years by the manufacturer's warranty.
Do you install outside Aledo?
Definitely. We install all around Aledo and well beyond. Add the property address when you request your estimate.
Ready to get started?
Get your estimate in early so you'll have your pick of install dates. Then spend December watching the lights instead of hanging them.
