Permanent Lighting in Cibolo
Cibolo homes, lit up for the holidays and left that way. We're Inception Lighting. We install permanent color-changing LED lights, and we come down from our home base in Denton to put them on houses in Cibolo. Once they're up, they stay. You won't really see them during the day. After sunset you pull up the app, switch them on, and choose your colors.
Control with the click of a button
With BlueHopper, you have the superpower of controlling lights! Available on both iOS & Android, BlueHopper is an incredibly user-friendly app with all the powerful features, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
Start by choosing a preset design, or easily customize your own and schedule it. It's that easy!

Why Cibolo families are making the switch
Cibolo has filled up with young families, and young families don't have many free Saturdays. Spending one up on a ladder with a tangle of lights isn't how most people want to start December. Paying a crew to hang temporary strands works, but you're back on their calendar the next year, and the year after that.
Permanent lights get installed one time. From then on, the house changes colors when you tell it to, or on a schedule you set once and forget about.
The city's holiday parade and tree lighting are now held on the same day, with the tree lit on Main Street. A couple thousand people usually come out for the parade. When the tree comes on downtown, yours can come on at home too.
Made for how Cibolo celebrates
- Steele High football. Go black and silver for the Knights on game nights.
- Some Cibolo kids cheer for the Clemens Buffaloes over in Schertz. Royal blue and gold is one tap away.
- Christmas colors from parade day through New Year's Eve.
- Red, white and blue for the Fourth, and again when someone comes home from a deployment out of Randolph.
- Purple and orange at Halloween, green on St. Patrick's Day, pink in October if your family wears it.
- The rest of the time, plain warm white. It's an easy way to keep the porch and driveway lit.
The app handles schedules up to twelve months ahead. There are 16 million colors to choose from, plus whites from a candle-warm 1800K up to a bright 6800K.
Homes we light in Cibolo
A lot of Cibolo's homes are on the newer side, with some established neighborhoods mixed in.
- Cibolo Valley Ranch, an established neighborhood close to parks and walking trails. A lit home stands out nicely on an evening walk.
- Turning Stone, with newer single-family homes, a community pool, a playground and a walking trail. Families here like having the holidays handled without giving up a weekend.
- Older streets where homes built in the 1990s and 2000s sit on bigger lots under mature trees. One-story and two-story houses both look good with a warm glow along the roof.
- The neighborhoods around Main Street, the older heart of town where the Christmas tree goes up.
- Homes out toward Crescent Bend Nature Park on Cibolo Creek, where it gets dark early and a little light on the house goes a long way.
Plenty of Cibolo neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.

Cibolo permanent lighting FAQ
Can I have Christmas colors on for parade and tree lighting day?
Yes. Pick your design ahead of time and schedule it to start that day. If your lights aren't in yet, getting your estimate approved early gives you more install dates to choose from.
One kid's at Steele and another's rooting for Clemens. Can we do both?
Yep. Save a Knights preset and a Buffaloes preset, and anyone in the family can switch between them from their own phone.
What's the price?
It depends on how much of the roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered. Your free estimate will give you a real number.
Do the lights show in the daytime?
Not much. The track is color-matched to your trim, so most neighbors won't know they're there.
How far ahead can I set the schedule?
Up to twelve months. Set it in January and the lights will take care of themselves the rest of the year.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. The lights carry a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Do you install outside Cibolo?
We do. We install all around Cibolo and well beyond. Let us know where the house is when you send your estimate request.
Ready to get started?
Give your Saturdays back to the family. Request your free estimate now and you'll have the most install dates to pick from before Christmas.
