Why Forney homeowners are switching
Forney has grown fast. A lot of families out here moved into newer two-story homes along Highway 80, and the first December in a new house usually goes the same way. Somebody borrows a ladder, spends a cold Saturday up on the roof, and then half a strand quits before Christmas.
We'd rather you skip all that. Our lights go up one time and you never have to take them down. Christmas is ready when you are, and so is every other holiday, right from your phone.
Christmas in Forney starts downtown. Every December the city lights the tree at historic Bell Park, with Christmas music, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa. Christmas on Main follows, with vendors, kids' activities and photos with Santa up and down the old storefronts. Coming home from Bell Park to a house that's already glowing is a nice way to end the night.
Made for how Forney celebrates
- Forney High families can go black and gold for the Jackrabbits on Friday nights.
- North Forney families have blue, black and white ready for the Falcons. When the two schools meet in the Unity Bowl, you can pick a side or split the house down the middle.
- Turn on red and green the night of the Bell Park tree lighting and leave them on through New Year's.
- Red, white and blue for the Fourth, and orange and purple for Halloween.
- On an ordinary weeknight, plain warm white makes the front of the house look finished and lights the walk to the door.
You can set your schedule up to twelve months out, so every holiday takes care of itself. Pick from 16 million colors, or choose a white anywhere between a soft 1800K and a crisp 6800K.
Homes we light in Forney
Forney is still known as the Antique Capital of Texas, but most of its homes are a lot newer than anything on Antique Row.
- Devonshire, off Highway 80 at FM 548, with its stone entry tower, stocked ponds and trails. The big homes there look great lit up against the open sky.
- Windmill Farms, one of the larger communities in town. With so many houses on each street, it only takes a few neighbors with lights to make the whole block look like Christmas.
- Heartland and Travis Ranch, just outside the city limits, with their parks, pools and trails. Kids love spotting their own house from down the street.
- Older homes near downtown and City Hall, where owners usually want lights that disappear in the daytime so the house keeps its look.
Most of these neighborhoods have an HOA. Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How it works
- Request your free estimate. Tell us about your home on the Free Estimate page.
- Get your custom quote. Price depends on how many feet of roofline you want lit, the number of stories, and which sides of the house you want covered.
- Pick your install date. Install dates are booked in the order estimates are approved, so the earlier you request, the more dates you'll have before Christmas.
- Light it up. Download the app and run the house from your phone, with presets for every holiday or your own custom designs.
Lighting homes since 2012
Inception started in 2012. More than 2,000 lighting projects later, we're still lighting homes, businesses and cities. Our head office is in Denton at 723 S Interstate 35, Suite 226, and we install in Forney and across the area.
Forney permanent lighting FAQ
Can I set the house to change over for the Bell Park tree lighting?
Yes. Save your Christmas look in the app and schedule it to come on that evening. You can line up schedules as far as twelve months ahead.
We have one kid at Forney High and one at North Forney. Can we do both?
Sure. Save a Jackrabbits design and a Falcons design, then switch between them, or mix the colors together. Everybody in the family can use the app and keep their own favorites.
I live in Devonshire. Does the HOA change anything?
Have an HOA? Mention it on your estimate request and we'll talk it through with you.
How much does it cost?
It comes down to how much of the roofline you want lit, how many stories the house has, and which sides you'd like covered. Your free estimate gives you an actual price for your home.
Do the lights stand out in daylight?
Hardly. The track is color-matched to your trim, so most folks driving past won't know they're there until you turn them on.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every install carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the lights.
Do you install outside Forney?
We do, all around Forney and well beyond it. Fill in your address on the estimate form and we'll follow up.
Ready to get started?
If you'd like the house lit before the Bell Park tree goes up, send us your free estimate request now. The sooner it's approved, the more install dates you'll have to pick from.
